EMAIL UPDATE for the week 031108 - 101108:
For those who've finished their exams, please be patient. Due to heavy schoolwork we will not be able to have any group activities for this week.
A few of you have asked what is expected of the photo critique during the SYD chalet. For the benefit of those who don't know what a critique session is, it is just basically a session where everyone will bring their own works to present, and gather comments from everyone about how they feel of your photograph, how you could improve it and stuff like that. What is important is that everyone contribute their opinion during the session, to make it an interactive one, instead of only listening to 1 person commenting, which sadly is usually the case.
So for this session i need everyone to bring:
- photos you've shot on assignment. This includes photos for hahajing, poplens, and jingkan.
- some photos you've earned money from (perhaps you've shot weddings/DnD/commercial jobs etc)
- 10 of your very favourite personal works. (any genre). If you have more that you'd wish to share, feel free =)
Yup, so please contribute. You can start compiling your photos now.
