Dear all,

In light of the exams ahead (more for poor uni chaps here), there will not be any official activities for next weekend. Assignments still go on, and i will notify those involved accordingly. But I will still need a reply for this email.

Hope you guys had some fun during the jingkan shoot. Ok, conditions weren't ideal, and there weren't that many things to train your lenses on. But it's only when you start shooting that you realise the difficulties, be it technical, or conceptual. Keep the questions in mind, so there's something to share for the lessons to come.

A few things to take note on submission:

Dateline for submission: Friday, 03 April 09

Number of pictures: 5 of your best

Format of submission: JPEG, resized to within 1800*1800 resolution

Things to note: Minor editing, like changes to tonality and colour saturation, as well as cropping, is allowed. Noise reduction is ok (as well as dust removal). Cloning/superimposing/black and white/sepia toning or anything that alters the originality of the image is FORBIDDEN. If you do not understand the terms, just submit your pictures as it is for the moment.

If you don't know how to resize, or don't have a software to do so, I'd recommend Fastone image resizer, available free at the following page: http://www.faststone.org/download.htm It is a tool for batch resizing and renaming, so feel free to explore it. Other photo processors (DPP from canon, lightroom/photoshop from adobe, view NX from nikon, etc) all have tools for resize. You can either read the help file, google, or wait for us to teach you next time =)

To better facilitate the planning of our activities, I'd like to have a general idea of your exam schedules. Please include this in your reply.
